Does a rose stop being a rose when it is no longer admired? No, it remains a red rose. Does a rose stop being a rose when someone says they prefer lilies? No, it remains a rose. Does a rose stop being a rose when someone calls it by another name? No, it remains a rose. Likewise, your worth isn't based on the objective truth of who you are. That is, your worth is determined by how Allah sees you, not by anyone else.

This year, I've learned 3 things:

1. You're not always going to get the closure or the explanation you think you deserve.

2. Sometimes you've to accept something for what it is and move on.

3. Everything really does happen for a reason.💫

I have a big heart, anything and sometimes I hate it, I overthink, apologize too much, forgive too easily, worry too much about people who don't care about me, I feel guilty for things I have no control over, and I feel lonely because I'm afraid I won't find anyone who loves me as deeply as I love.
